Draft — have this reviewed before you publish it
This is a working draft prepared from how the DigniCare platform actually handles data. It is not legal advice. An Irish solicitor or data-protection adviser should check it, and you must fill in the bracketed details, before it goes live.

What DigniCare is
DigniCare is an introduction platform. We put families in touch with independent care professionals. We are not an employment agency, and caregivers listed here are not our employees or our agents. Any arrangement you make is directly between you and the other person.
What verification means
A caregiver shows a Verified badge only where a DigniCare administrator has seen their Garda vetting disclosure and their qualification certificate, and the badge shows when that check was made. A caregiver without the badge has told us about their experience and qualifications but we have not seen the documents.
Verification is a document check at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of conduct, competence or suitability. You remain responsible for satisfying yourself about anyone you engage, including seeing original documents and taking up references.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over to hold an account.
- The information on your profile must be accurate and about you.
- Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person.
Acceptable use
Do not use DigniCare to harass, mislead or defraud anyone; to advertise unrelated goods or services; to collect other users' details for use off the platform; or to post anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove an account that does.
Memberships and advertising
Family memberships and business advertising plans are requested through the site and confirmed by us once payment is arranged. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where it applies. [Set out your refund and cancellation terms here — consumer rights under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 will usually apply.]
Our liability
We provide the platform with reasonable care but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any caregiver, family or business introduced through it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
