Draft — have this reviewed before you publish it
This is a working draft prepared from how the DigniCare platform actually handles data. It is not legal advice. An Irish solicitor or data-protection adviser should check it, and you must fill in the bracketed details, before it goes live.
Cookies and local storage
Last updated: 18 September 2026
DigniCare does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We store only what is needed to keep you signed in and to make the site work.
What is stored
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
firebase:authUser:* |
Firebase Authentication (browser local storage) | Keeps you signed in between visits so you are not asked for your password on every page load. | Until you sign out or clear your browser data |
firebaseLocalStorageDb |
Firebase Authentication (IndexedDB) | Holds the same sign-in token where the browser supports it. | Until you sign out or clear your browser data |
These are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for, so under the ePrivacy Regulations they do not require consent. We set nothing else, and there are no third-party trackers on this site.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to
fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP
address as part of that request. [If you would rather avoid this, the fonts can be
self-hosted — ask your developer.]
Turning them off
You can clear or block site data in your browser settings, but you will then be signed out and may not be able to use your dashboard.
